Blog Etiquette

Welcome Boyne Mounties!
This blog has been provided as an open forum for sharing ideas, concerns and yes, even gossip as it pertains to the Boyne Mountain National Ski Patrol. I think that if used properly, a blog can be a very valuable tool in uniting an organization such as ours, where the opportunity to get everyone together for discussion is rare. There are however, a few basic ground rules to follow, and some things to keep in mind.....

• Treat this as an open meeting...... do not post things that you would not say in person.
• Do not post anonymously.....you can use a screen name, but we want to know who you are....if you're not willing to own up to it, don't post it!
• This blog is closed.......Only members can post or comment, but it is in the public domain...use your best judgement on your comments.
• Keep it positive......criticism is easy, but positive suggestions make better reading.
• Learn about Blogging.......it's kind of fun, & there are a lot of tools to use. When you make a post you can add photos, change text & fonts and even include video clips...get creative. E-mail or give me a call if you have a problem..todd@northernwrights.com (231) 582-5050

But perhaps the most important thing that you can do is check in and use this resource. Post and comment often...remember, this patrol belongs to ALL of us....let's ALL participate.
